This National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Policy (NAP) establishes policy for conducting program management activities within the NNSA. This policy provides increased organizational discipline, clearly defined management responsibilities and authorities, and consistency across both Headquarters and field offices to increase management efficiency and effectiveness. It also eliminates management redundancies and provides for guidance on tasking and direction from NNSA programs to Management and Operating (M&O) contractors.
